Stegemann, Theodore (25 JAN 1895 – 10 OCT 1970)

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. last Tuesday at the Hoeper-Kraut Funeral Home for Theodore R. Stegemann, 75, of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), who died Saturday in Melrose Park, Ill.

The Rev. W.H. Luetkehoelter officiated and burial was made in the Riverside Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Ray Slock, August Slock, Morris Martin, Henry Buss, Fred Flater, and Bert Ebert.

Mr. Stegemann was born January 25, 1895 in Illinois. He was married in Tomahawk in 1938 to Olga Garfield, who preceded him in death in 1944. The couple farmed in the town of Hixon for many years.

He is survived by one step-son, Russell Garfield, Lake Zurich, Ill.; a step-daughter, Mrs. Emily Rice, Takoma Park, Md.; 12 step-grandchildren; and one brother, Adolph Stegemann, Melrose Park, Ill.

He was preceded in death by one brother.
