Boyer, Brenda Sue (Marriage – 21 December1974)

Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Anthony Ruzic, who were married December 21 in ceremonies performed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Neillsville, by the Rev. Joseph N. Henseler, are making their home in Neillsville.

The new Mrs. Ruzic, the former Miss Brenda Sue Boyer, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arvid G. Boyer of Rt. 1, Neillsville. Her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Ruzic, Rt. 2 Greenwood.

For her marriage, the bride chose an entrained gown of white taffeta fashioned with lace bodice inserts and nylon sleeves caught by wide lace cuffs. Her matching lace headpiece held a short veil. Blue roses and white carnations formed her bouquet.

Miss Cheryl Erickson, Rt. 1 Neillsville, was the maid of honor and Miss Sherri Bauer, Greenwood, the bridesmaid. Their gowns of forest green and burgundy crepe, respectively, featured white collar and cuff accents. They carried arrangements of white carnations with roses to match their gowns.

Mike Ruzic, brother of the groom, served as bestman. Ken Volovsek was the groomsman. Both are of Rt. 2 Greenwood. Ushers were Larry Boyer and Bruce Boyer, brothers of the bride.

Mrs. Glen Short was the organist and Mrs. Gene Ross, the soloist.

A reception at the Wildcat Inn preceded a wedding dance at the Silver Dome Ballroom.

The bride is a 1974 graduate of Neillsville High School and is employed as a demonstrator for a jewelry firm. Her husband, who graduated from the Greenwood High School in 1974, is employed by a Neillsville firm.
