Hall, Rose (19 May 1893 – 10 January 1975)

Funeral services for Mrs. Rose Hall, 81, of Memorial Home, who died January 10 were held Tuesday morning from the Georgas-Gesche Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald Nordin of Calvary Lutheran Church officiating. Interment was in the Town of Lynn Cemetery.

The daughter of Rudolph and Marie (Moly) Marek, Mrs. Hall was born May 19, 1893, in Czechoslovakia and was educated in schools there. She came to the United State at the age of 27 and settled in Chicago, Il., where she worked during her lifetime. Following her August 2, 1954, marriage to Thomas Hall, the couple moved to Neillsville where they retired. Mr. Hall died September 4, 1957. Mrs. Hall had been a resident of Memorial Home for the past few years because of failing health.

Among survivors are two children: Frank R. Marek of San Bernardino, Ca., and Mrs. George (Mary) Gasparas of Cicero, Il.; two brothers: Otto Marek of lake View, Ak., and Charles Marek of Granton; Six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were: Walter Beyer, Hank Alsterberg, George Gasparas, Jr., Gene A. Gasparas, Tony Vobora and John Gross.

“Beyond the Sunset” and “Just as I Am” were sung by Mrs. May Peters. Mrs. Deon Spangler was the accompanist.

Those from out of town who attended the services were: Mr. and Mrs. George Gasparas, Sr., George Gasparas, Jr., Gene Gasparas and Gerald Gasparas, all of Cicero, Il.; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Marek, Granton; Mr. and Mrs. James Vobora, Marshfield; and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Vobora, Mosinee.
