Anderson, Billy J. Sr. (1 FEB 1958 - 16 APR 2018)

Billy J. Anderson, Sr., age 60, of Withee, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Aspirus Care and Rehabilitation in Medford under the tender care of hospice.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Withee.

Billy J. Anderson, Sr., age 60, of Withee, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Aspirus Care and Rehabilitation in Medford under the tender care of hospice.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Withee. Rev. Thomas Myhre will officiate.

Billy was born on February 1, 1958, the son of Harvey and Velda (Arndt) Anderson in Stanley. He graduated from Owen-Withee High School. Billy was united in marriage to April Sinette on April 2, 1988 in Withee. He worked at Abbyland for several years and also was a self-employed handyman.

Billy enjoyed his life, loved to go camping, hiking, canoeing, fishing (when they were biting) and burning wood. He especially loved his dogs, family and friends.

Billy is survived by his wife, April of Withee; four children: Chrissie Anderson of Hurley, Garyn (Michael) Partanen of Bessemer, MI, Billy (Logan) Anderson, Jr. of Withee and Earl Robertsen of Medford; 16 grandchildren: Trinity, Tavon, MacKenna, Taylor, Brianna, Matthew, Michael, Gabriel, Aiden, Jasmine, Anthony, Makayla, Lilly, Alexandria, Evalynn and Quinn. He is further survived by his parents, Harvey and Velda Anderson of Withee; his sister, Janice (Allen) Arndt of Withee; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Joe Anderson and his brother, Ronald Anderson.
