Rantanen, Susan “Sue” W. (Anderson) (17 NOV 1946 - 6 APR 2018)

Susan “Sue” W. Rantanen, 71, of Westboro, passed away on Friday, April 6 at her residence in the Town of Westboro.

Graveside services and interment will take place at Mount Olive Cemetery, Westboro at 1:30 PM on Saturday, May 19, 2018, with Fr. David Neuschwander officiating.

Sue was born on November 17, 1946, at Milwaukee, to Evan and Clara June (Boettcher) Anderson.

She attended Milwaukee area elementary schools and was a graduate of a Kenosha, WI High School.

On June 17, 1967, Sue was married to Michael E. Rantanen, in Milwaukee. He survives

Prior to her marriage, she worked at Johnson Wax in Racine. After their marriage, she worked various jobs in the Milwaukee area. They moved to Saukville where she worked at an Electric Company. They moved to the Town of Westboro in 1995 and she worked at Black River Industries until her retirement. She enjoyed playing cards and her computer.

Sue is survived by her husband, Michael E. Rantanen, Westboro; Children Michael Rantanen, Jr. Town of Westboro and Joseph Rantanen of West Bend; 2 grandchildren, Nathan Rantanen and Elizabeth (Lucas) Schult; 2 great grandchildren, Ashton and Colton Schult; a sibling Richard Anderson of Arizona.

She is predeceased by her parents, Evan and Clara June (Boettcher) Anderson; and siblings Carol Howard and Patricia Tiedke; and Art Anderson.
