Schultz, Albert H. (19 February 1886 – 14 January 1975)

Funeral services were held Friday from the Georgas-Gesche Funeral Home for Albert H. (Strawberry) Schultz, 88, of Neillsville, who died January 14 at the county hospital at Owen. The Rev. Gary Clark of the United Church of Christ officiated, and interment followed in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

The son of John and Louise (Wacholtz), he was born February 19, 1886, in Lemont, Il., and was educated there. He was educated there. He came to Clark County as a boy. His marriage to the former Lovina Schiltz took place September 26, 1907, in Neillsville. Mrs. Schultz died in December of 1960.

Mr. Schultz, who was well known in this area for the strawberries he raised, farmed in the Town of Pine Valley for many years. He retired and moved to Neillsville several years ago and had been at the county hospital for the past three months because of failing health.

A sister, Mrs. John (Lena) Zimmerman of Shawano, survives.

Pallbearers were: Herman Hagedorn, Robert Jackson, Donald Meihack, William Matuszak, Ernest Gaden and George Murphy. “Rock of Ages” and “Just as I Am” were sung by Mrs. May Peters and
Deon Spangler was the accompanist.

Among those attending the services from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kapfer, West Bend; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Spaete, Belvidere, Il.; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jackson, Mead Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Zimmerman, Merrillan.
