Dietsche, Ben (3 FEB 1882 – 26 FEB 1974)

Ben Dietsche, 92, died at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 1974, at the Marshfield Convalescent Home, where he had resided for the last ten years.

Funeral services were held Thursday, February 28 at the Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, with burial in the Loyal Cemetery. The Rev. Eugene Carlson, pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiated.

The Rink Funeral Home, Loyal, was in charge of arrangements.

Ben Dietsche was born February 3, 1882, in the town of Sherman (Clark Co., Wis.), and received his education in the Town of Sherman schools.

He married on May 13, 1919, at Loyal (Clark Co.), to the former Evelyn Hutchins, who preceded him in death on December 13, 1965.

He worked in the lumber yard at Riplinger for 40 years. He retired in 1934.

He is survived by one brother, Fran, Rt. 2, Spencer, and one sister, Mrs. William (Mary) Brill, California.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by one daughter.

Pallbearers were William Davel, Bernard Davel, Buster Dietsche, Allen Dietsche, Marvin Dietsche, and Leland Dietsche.
