Ron is survived by his son, Robert (Iris) of West Des Moines, Iowa; his son Edward (Sarah) of Modesto, Calif.; seven grandchildren; his sister, Gayle (Cletus) Hammonds of Morton, Texas; his brother, Jerry (Jeannie) Taylor of Atlanta, Ga.; and his sister-in-law, Sherrie Taylor of Dallas, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Ethel and Joy and his brothers, Bob and Larry.

A celebration of Ron's life with his family and friends will be held from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15 at JS Supper Club in Ladysmith.
