The public is cordially invited to attend the Golden Jubilee Celebration at the Clark County Hospital and Home on Sunday, September 17, 1972 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The institutions are located two mile east of Owen on Highway 29.

The afternoon program will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the West Park on the hospital grounds, with the presentation of Colors by the Van Huizen-Fritz Post 123 of Owen. This will be followed by the Clark County Male Chorus singing the National Anthem. The program continues with Pledge to the Flag, led by Suzanne and David Mills; invocation by Rev. Arthur Hellert, Chaplain at the Clark County Hospital and Home; introductory remarks by Arlyn A. Mills, Superintendent of the Clark County Hospital and Home; W.H. Allen, Vice President of the Board of Trustees, Clark County Hospital and Home; Ray Conzemius, Board of Supervisors, Chairman of Finance Committee, and the address by Leonard Ganzer, M.D, Administrator, State Department of Health and Social Services, Division of Mental Hygiene. The program will conclude with a selection by the Clark County Male Chorus.

Guided tours will be conducted from 1:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. of the hospital and the farm. A ballgame will get underway at 3:00 p.m. on the Hospital Eas Side ball diamond, with the opposing team from the Owen-Withee area. Hospital antiques will be on display throughout the afternoon on the south lawn, with music furnished throughout the Jubilee Celebration.

These doors are being opened "inward" as well as outward." This opportunity enable everyone to familiarize himself with modern psychiatric treatment facilities.

"Fifty Years of Progress" is the motto for this Golden Jubilee.

An attractive brochure, giving a historical account of the past 50 years in picture and written form, will be distributed to visitors.
