Hahn, August W. (1893 – 21 MAR 1971

August W. Hahn, 77, died Sunday at Victory Memorial Hospital, Stanley.

He was born in Waterloo, Wisconsin in 1893, and moved to Stanley in 1927. He was a trucker until 1953, and then was in the sand and gravel business. He married Ida Drilling in 1916.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Michael Borchek, Norridge, Illinois; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Edward, Reedsville, Gilbert, Milwaukee, Clarence, Beaver Dam; and five sister, Mrs. Mary Reige, Waterloo, Mrs. Gusta Tester, Watertown, Mrs. Albert Kohls, Sun Prairie, Mrs. Arthur Gottschalk, Waterloo, and Mrs. Dorothy Krejci, Chciago.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. at Epiphany Lutheran Church at Stanley, with the Reverend Robert Olson officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.
