The engagement of Barbara Ellen Freimund to Michael John Fasse, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arno Fasse, Milan, is announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rollan Freimund of Athens. She is a graduate of Colby (Clark Co., Wis.) High School, attended the University of Wisconsin, Wausau Extension center, and is now an audit reviewer at Employers Mutual Insurance Company of Wausau. Her fiancé is a graduate of Abbotsford High School, attends North Central Technical Institute and is also employed at American Can Company at Wausau.

Wedding plans are indefinite.
