Nelson, Rick Harold (24 APR 1976 - 19 AUG 2018)

Rick Harold Nelson, 42, Prentice, died in Prentice on Sunday, August 19.

He was born in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, on April 24, 1976. He served his country in the United States Army as a Tank Mechanic from 1998 to 2002. He was married to Amber Tollefson on November 14, 2003. He had a vision for everything mechanical and worked as a small engine repairman, as a refrigeration technician, and most recently as a semi driver for Bauer Trucking.

He was a member of the Prentice Bushbenders Snowmobile Club. In his free time he valued spending time with his family, cooking for his family, fishing, snowmobiling, and motorcycling.

He is survived by his wife, Amber; by three children, Audreigh, Ryan, and Reece, all living at home in Prentice; by his father, Steve Nelson, Ogema; by his mother; and by a sister and brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 25, at the Ogema Baptist Church in Ogema with Pastor Rodney Price officiating. Friends may call at the church on Friday evening after 5:00 P.M. and on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.
