Strobach, Lee E. (1 OCT 1939 - 6 SEP 2018)

Lee E. Strobach, 78, of Catawba, Price County, passed away on Thursday, September 6 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, where he had been a patient for the past ½ day.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 22 at First Lutheran Church, Ogema, with Rev. Dr. Bob Giese officiating.

Interment of his cremated remains will take place at Lakeview Cemetery, Rib Lake.

Visitation will be held at 9 AM until the time of services at 11 AM on Saturday, September 22 at First Lutheran Church, Ogema.

Lee was born on October 1, 1939, in Medford, to Bernard Lester and Jeanette Agnes (Poirier) Strobach. He attended Fawn Valley Grade school, Town of Rib Lake & Rib Lake High School.

On April 30, 1960, Lee was married to Beverly Jean Komarek, in Rib Lake. She preceded him in death April 24, 2007.

After his education, he worked at the Rib Lake Cheese Factory, Gem Products, Laabs Cheese Factory, Westboro, Consolidated Molding in Ogema, Tomahawk Boat Factory, Ogema Locker Plant, Prentice Hydraulics, and 31 years for the Price County Highway Department retiring in 1998. He enjoyed trips to the casino, hunting, fishing, watching birds, feeding birds, deer & bear.
He was a member of First Lutheran Church, Ogema.

Lee is survived by his significant other, Rosie Ryskoski of Medford; children Jari Lynn (Sig. other-Jerry Kurth) Sackman of Ogema; Rodney (Kristin) Strobach of Rib Lake, Bryan (Sig. other-Mary Henrichs) Strobach of Westboro, and Gary (Sig. other-Kim Schroeder) Strobach of Oconomowoc, WI; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren.

He is also survived by siblings Judy (Bill) Gelhaus of Salome, AZ; Dale (Bernadette) Strobach of Clear Lake, WI; Ray (Carol) Strobach of Rib Lake; and Dean (Gayle) Strobach of Ogema.

Lee is preceded by his wife Beverly; parents; daughter in law Jini Strobach in 2010; and siblings Theodore Strobach and Bernadette Marschke.
