Kaliczki, Mike (1 JAN 1896 – 11 OCT 1971)

Mike Kaliczki, 75, a resident of Gilman (Taylor Co., Wis.), died at Gilman Nursing Home Monday, October 11, 1971.

Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, October 14th, ten a.m. at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Gilman. Father Alphonse Zoltowski will officiate. Burial will be made at Meadowbrook Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Thorp American Legion Post, of which he was a member. The body will lie in state at the Gilman Funeral Home starting Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning.

Mr. Kaliczki was born January 1, 1896 in Poland, the son of John and Mary Kaliczki. He came to the state at the age of 16. He served in the U.S. Army in World War I. He lived in the Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) area until 1962, when he moved to Gilman, and has been a patient at the Gilman Nursing Home for the last four years.

Surviving are cousins and other relatives.
