Christ Lutheran at Chili - Zion Lutheran at Granton (Confirmands – 4/11 May
1975)
The Rev. Everett Schleef will officiate Sunday, May 4, at the rite of
confirmation at Zion Lutheran Church, Granton, and Christ Lutheran Church,
Chili, May 11. The 16 young men and women to be confirmed have completed three
years of preparatory instruction.
Confirmands at the 9 a.m. service at the Chili church will be Mike Boushon,
Daryl Doehr, Willis Stichert, Calvin Tysver and Barbara Ure. Their first
communion will be received May 11.
At the 10:30 a.m. service at Zion, the confirmands will be Arthur Dahl, Peggy
Drinsinger, Zoe Garbisch, Jeffrey Handt, Thomas Hasz, Scott Helm, Coleen Kurth,
Russell Mannigel, Sandra Scheel, Diane Sternitzky and Molly Sternitzky. The
sacrament of communion will follow the confirmation service.
