Schuette, Shirley Ann (9 AUG 1969)
Saturday, August 9, 1969 was the wedding day for Miss Shirley Ann Schuette,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Schuette of Marshfield, formerly of Abbotsford,
and James J. Kislow, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kislow of Chicago.
The bride was given in marriage by her father at the ceremony, which took place
at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Marshfield, at 4 o'clock, with the Rev. Eldore
F. Messerschmidt officiating. For her attendants, she chose Miss Sue Goldamer as
her maid of honor, Miss Christine Balire and Miss Jean Schuette as her
bridesmaids.
The bride was attired in a A-line gown of Karoti with Venice lace and detachable
chapel train, and had a bouffant illusion veil with a fabric bown. She carried a
cascade bouquet of pink roses and stephanotis.
A-line gowns of pink linen with matching headpieces were born by the aides.
Tom Gauerke served as best man, and Chuck Schuette and Ron Klein were groomsmen.
Darwin Schlinsog and Russell Kislow seated the guests at the church.
A reception and dinner at the Knights of Columbus Clubhouse followed the
ceremony.
The bride, a 1965 graduate of the Abbotsford High School, was graduated this
year from Wisconsin State University, Eau Claire. She will teach at Pennoyer
School in Norridge, Illinois, where she and her husband will live at 8710 W.
Summerdale.
Mr. Kislow is a graduate of the Wausau High School and is employed as General
Business Manager for Warren Buick in Chicago.
