The Loyal High School graduating class of 1924 held its 50th Anniversary Saturday, June 1, 1974 at Amber Inn in Loyal. The graduates started congregating at 6:30 p.m. for cocktails, and then went into the dining room for a delicious home style dinner. Fifteen people attended, nine of which were members of the Class of 1924. Pictures were taken of the group by several members. The group then left for the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Davel. The evening was then spent reminiscing and reading letters from graduates who were unable to attend.

The committee presented gifts to members travel the greatest distance, the largest family, the youngest baby born to a member's family, and the one who traveled the longest distance outside of the states.

An invitation was extended to Nels Sorenson of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. He was the principal for three years. In his reply he stated his regrets on not being able to attend, and sent pictures he had taken of the class while he was here.

The meeting ended after Mrs. Davel served dessert and coffee to her guests.

Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Rosenbaum (Mildred Cattanach) from Kenosha, Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Schei (Olive Clouse) from Green Bay, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Darton, Loyal, Mrs. Eva Wolf (Gretzner), Spencer, Mrs. Gladys Schultz (Gretzner) , Fond du Lac, Mrs. Evelyn Arthur (Kurtzheim) Cedarburg, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Pieper (Sylvia Nelson), Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Davel (Nellie Shupe), Loyal, and Mr. and Mrs. Alex Loos (Hilda Stutte), Loyal.
