Noah, Ronald Roger (6 October 1935 – 21 December 2018)

Ronald Noah, age 83, of Neillsville, WI died Friday, December 21, 2018 at the Riverside Assisted Living Center, where he had been residing.

Ronald Roger Noah was born on October 6, 1935 in Clark County, the son of Art and Annie (Saule) Noah. He attended Rocky Run School in Willard, and then helped on the family farm. In 1962, he went to work for Jack Counsell. On August 5, 1964 he was united in marriage to Betty Counsell and then worked for North Hendren Cheese Factory and B & F Machine Shop. In October of 1964 he began a long career at the Nelson Muffler factory.

Ronnie enjoyed going for walks, gardening, doing crosswords and word finds and the coffee clutch at BP. He also enjoyed doing tractor work on gardens and lawns for others.

He is survived by two children, Dawn (Justin) Springer of Neillsville, and Jason Noah of Neillsville, four grandchildren: Amanda Springer, Alec Noah, Elizabeth Springer and Aaron Noah. Four siblings, Alan (Brenda) Noah of Willard, Arthur (Marjorie) Noah of Greenwood, Mary Jane (Joe) Langoff of Spencer, and Sandy Egstad of Neillsville, and two sisters-in-law, Elda Noah of Loyal, and Christie Noah of Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty, siblings: Jimmy Noah, Dorothy Huth, Donald Noah and Richard Noah, and two brothers-in-law, Jerry Egstad and Arnold “Bud” Huth.

A Memorial Service for Ron will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Pastor Douglas Bjerke will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Friday at the Gesche Funeral Home.
