Loyal – House of mercy Hosts (Open House – 16 December 2018)

The House of Mercy (HoM), a homeless shelter for women and children, had an open house Dec. 16 for visitors to tour the facility and speak with staff. The shelter is at 141 Main Street, Loyal. Visitors (above) Holly and Frank Pisors were able to speak with Judy Morrow, program coordinator. Since its inception, a total of 19 children and nine families have stayed at HoM. The women who stay there are provided with employment training and financial education to help them get back on their feet. To learn more, donate or volunteer at the HoM, visit: www.cclse.org or call 715-503-1005. Valerie Brecht/Clark County Press
