Army Specialist Five John P. Geiger, 24, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norbert B. Geiger,
Route 1, Dorchester, was recently graduated with highest honors from the III
Corps Commissioned Officers Academy at Ft. Hood, Texas.
Specialist Geiger received four weeks of training, which included instruction in
drill and ceremonies, physical leadership, map reading, and weapons
familiarization.
He is an air traffic controller in Headquarters Troop, 1st Squadron of the 1st
Cavalry Division's 9th Calary.
His wife, Elfriede, is with him at Ft. Hood.
