Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Smart are the parents of a son born Friday, October 31, 1969 at Stevens Point. Their new infant tipped the scales at eight pounds and three ounces at birth, and has been named Scott Michael. He joins one brother, Mark, at home.

Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Hoffman, Colby, and Mr. and Mrs. Les Smart Dorchester. Great- grandmothers are Mrs. Elizabeth Riehle, Abbotsford, and Mrs. Ida Bargenquast, Abbotsford.
