Meyering, Jason Lee (19 June 1980 – 26 February 2019)

Quote: “What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes part of us.”

Jason Lee Meyering, age 38, passed away on February 26, 2019 in Madison. Jason was born on June 19, 1980 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Marlene Meyering. A couple years after he was born, Jason and his mother moved to Iowa for about ten years. Then, around Jason's teenage years, he and his mother moved once more, this time to Neillsville, - where Jason considered “home”. In 2003, Jason decided to move to Madison, where he resided for the remainder of his life. While there, he worked in sales - he was a natural! He spent most of his sales career in the printer industry, working for Parts Now and Liberty Parts. Most recently, though, Jason was working for Pomp's Tire. Jason enjoyed spending time with his friends. His passions were music and the Minnesota Vikings. He would love finding new music and going to live shows whenever he could. Jason was blessed with the birth of his son, Ethan Meyering, on July 21, 2006. He and Ethan loved watching the Vikings and playing video games together. They were best buds! Ten years ago, Jason met his fiancé, Michelle Blada. After three years of dating, they became engaged. On October 4, 2018, they were blessed with their miracle baby, Brielle Meyering. Jason adored his two girls.

Jason is preceded in death by his mother, Marlene Meyering; his grandmother, Marilyn Meyering; and his uncle, Randy Olson.

He is survived by his son, Ethan (Samantha Mueller); his daughter, Brielle; his fiancé, Michelle; and his three sisters, Michelle, Nicole, and Sierra. Jason will be remembered by his sense of humor and outgoing personality, but more importantly, for the way he always loved with all of his heart no matter what and for being a great father.

Services will be held at Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, which will include a visitation from 1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. with a funeral service held right afterwards. After the funeral, there will be a casual get-together at Strike Time Lanes, a local bar/bowling alley.
