Hoover, Naomi N. (Martin) (30 SEP 1940 - 20 FEB 2019)

Naomi N. Hoover, age 69 of Town of Withee, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at her residence.

Services will be at 10:00 am on Monday, February 25, 2019 at Meadow Brook Mennonite Church in the Town of Withee. Nelson Newswanger, Elvin Fox, Isaac Brubaker, and John David Zimmerman will officiate. Pallbearers will be Elvin Hoover, David Ray Hoover, Matthew Martin, Ethan Martin, Raymond Hoover, and Lowell Hoover. Visitation will be on Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the residence (N15823 Spur Ave).

Naomi was born on January 15, 1950 in Brecknock Township Denver, PA, the daughter of John S. and Esther S. (Nolt) Martin. She was united in marriage to Noah Earl Hoover on January 15, 1970 in Brecknock Township PA. Naomi was a homemaker and farmed with her husband in the Town of Withee, WI.

Naomi is survived by her husband: Noah Earl Hoover; her three sons: Roy (Ida Jean) Hoover, Timothy (Susan) Hoover, and Wayne (Erla) Hoover; two daughters: Miriam (Aidin) Hoover, and Norma (James) Martin; two brothers: Rufus (Anna) Martin of Owen, Alvin (Vera) Martin of Withee; and seven sisters: Eva (Allen) Horning of Thorp, Emma (Raymond) Brubaker of Denver, PA, Elizabeth Martin of Withee, Rebecca (Nelson) Martin of Withee, Barbara (Mahlon) Shirk of Owen, Mary (Jesse) Brubaker of Withee, and Mabel Martin of Weyauwega. Naomi is further survived by 26 grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents: John and Esther Martin Jr., sisters: Laura Martin, Alma Shirk, infant sister: Miriam Martin; a daughter-in-law: Alma Hoover (Wayne), infant granddaughter: Melva Hoover, and Grandson: Stephen Martin.
