Meacham, Myrtle (14 September 1893-22 July 1986)

UNITY--Former Town of Unity resident Myrtle Meacham, 92, who had
resided at the Colby Living Center for the past 10 years, died Tuesday
afternoon at the Center.

Services will be Friday at United Methodist Church, Loyal. Burial
will be in Westside Cemetery, Spencer. The Rev. C. Arlene Denzer and
Rev. Ross Oestreich will officiate. Visitation will be at the Rinka
Funeral Home., Loyal.

The former Myrtle Hebert was born September 14, 1893, in Spencer, a
daughter of William Louis and Mabel (Pickett) Hebert. She received her
education in the Town of Unity. She and Fred Meacham were married
October 16, 1912 at Spencer. After their marriage the Meacham farmed all
their lives in the Town of Unity.

Mrs. Meacham was a member of the United Methodist Church, Loyal.
Surviving are two sons, Vernon of Loyal and Jesse of Marshfield; two
daughters, Mrs. Chris (Norma) Oestreich of Loyal and Mrs. Glenn
(Birdine) Oestreich of Waukegan, Illinois; two brothers, Lloyd of
Spencer and Harry of Beach, North Dakota; 15 grandchildren; 15
great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, a sister and two brothers.

Pallbearers will be Dan, Lynn and Lee Meacham, Dan Oestreich, Paul
O'Black and Shawn Knapp.
