Brown, Mr./Mrs. Bert (53rd – 11? APR 1970)

Mr. and Mrs. Bert Brown were the guests of honor at a surprise wedding anniversary party given at the Ed Brown home Saturday evening.

They celebrated 53 years of wedded life.

Three couples, old time friends of the Browns, were invited to join them for a dinner party. The guests, other than the honored couple, were Mr. and Mrs. Alex Loos, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Meyer, and Mr. and Mrs. George Zuehlke, all of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.).

The group spent the evening playing cards and visiting.

Mr. and Mrs. Brown, now in retirement, moved to Colby after having spent many years in Loyal.
