Truchinski, Marie Elsie (10 May 1934-15 June 1959)

STRATFORD--Marie E. (Mrs. Roland W.) Truchinski, 55, Stratford, died
Saturday at Good Samaritan Health Care Center, Merrill.

Services will be Wednesday at Sauer/Kundinger Funeral Home,
Stratford, with the Rev. Jon E. Tesch of St. Peter's Lutheran Church,
town of McMillan, officiating. Music will be provided by Daniel Bach,
organist, for Miss Mary Southworth, soloist. Burial will be in Mound
Cemetery, Pittsville.

Pallbearers will be Jack Schmidt, Thomas Kissner, David Johnson, Alex
Miller, David Zakrzewicz and William Shanks, Jr.

She was born May 10, 1934, in the town of Worden, Clark County, to
Jens Peter and Edna Johnson. She attended Clark County Schools.

She was married to Roland W. Truchinski November 3, 1963, in Reno,
Nevada. (Her first married was to Robert Zakrzewicz in 1951.)

As a young woman, she was employed as a waitress in Thorp. She later
moved to California. After her marriage, she and her husband lived in
California for three years. They then moved to the Loyal area, where
they farmed. They later moved to Texas for three years. In 1986, they
moved to Stratford and had resided there since.

She was a former member of the Methodist Church of Loyal.

She was survived by her husband; four daughters, Mrs. William (Lynn)
Shanks sr., Mrs. Debora Schmidt and Tammy Truchinski, all of Stratford,
and Mrs. Kevin (Kim) Leonard of Fort Worth, Texas; one son, Randall
Zakrzewicz Truchinski of Loyal; three brothers, Arnold Johnson of
Greenwood, Donald Johnson of Fontana, and Everett Johnson of Thorp; one
sister, Mrs. Harold "Bud" (Dorthea) Baumgarten of Thorp; and nine
grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, four brothers, and two sisters.
