Staves, Harry Truman (14 October 1924-16 October 1986)

Harry Staves, 86, 2853 Starr Ave., died Thursday at his home.

He was born in Humbird and married Iva Krauss October 14, 1924 in
Ellsworth. He farmed in the Humbird area until 1917. He moved to Eau
Claire in 1930.

He worked for Jerry Finn Insulation Co. and the Crossroads Service
Station, both in Eau Claire, until he retired in 1965.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Ramona Staves, Eau Claire; a
son, LeRoy, Eau Claire; a brother, Donald, Humbird; and a sister, Marie
Smith, Neillsville.

Services will be Monday at Hope Lutheran Church with burial in Forest
Hill Cemetery.

(Note: Wife's obit gives marriage as 1929. Typo?)
