Wichlacz, Larry N. (6 OCT 1947 - 19 APR 2010)

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend has gone to his resting place with our Lord.

Larry N. Wichlacz, 62, Wausau, died Monday, April 19, 2010 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau.

He was born October 6, 1947 in Athens, son of the late Anton and Lucille (Kordus) Wichlacz. On June 17, 1972 he married Joyce Robers in Lyons. She survives.

Larry worked at Marathon Cheese for 28 years. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Some of his hobbies included fishing, camping, woodworking and especially spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce, Wausau; daughters, Georgejean (Allen) Halfmann, Merrill, Connie (Matt) Dymora, Wausau and foster daughter, Lynn Meurett, Wausau; grandchildren, Holli, Gregory, Michael, Ethan and Marshall; sister, Gladys Martin, Marshfield; brothers, Eugene (Shirley) Wichlacz, Wausau, Edwin (Betty) Wichlacz, Milan, Rodger (Joan) Wichlacz, West Bend and Jeffery (JoAnn) Wichlacz, Auburndale, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th Street, Wausau. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until the time of services all at the funeral home. Committal service will be Noon on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
