Loyal - Second Chances Celebrates (Grand Opening - 2019)

Second Chances Retail Store and Training Center in Loyal celebrated its grand Opening last Saturday. Proceeds from the store will go to support women and children at the House of Mercy, a shelter in Loyal overseen by Catholic Charities of the Diocese of La Crosse. Various officials were there to offer congratulations to all the volunteers that have made the store’s opening possible. “I’m very impressed with the Loyal community and Clark County. It’s so impressive to see how people come together. We come together to help each other, and you are the perfect example of that,” said Roberto Partarrieu, executive director of Catholic Charities. Shown (l-r) are Gary Veltus, Mary Lamovec, Loyal Mayor Carmen Englebretson, former mayor Dave Williams, Loyal Area Chamber of Commerce member Jenn Krultz, chamber president Lyndsey Smith, Julie Denk, Judy Morrow, Don Morrow, Partarrieu, county board member Gordon Haselow and Bob Barth.
