Mr. and Mrs. Toivo Kallio left Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) Friday afternoon to spend the weekend with their son, John, in Madison. Flying in from La Crosse to join them there were Dan Kallio of Barron and Debbie Kallio of UW, La Crosse.

Saturday they attended the pinning ceremony at the Great Hall of the University of Wisconsin Memorial Union. There they pinned their son, John, a graduate nurse.

Sunday noon the Kallios attended a brunch at the exclusive Madison Club as guests of Retired Chief Justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, Mrs. Timothy Brown.

The Kallios returned to Owen Sunday afternoon via La Crosse, where Debbie returned to her studies.
