Harycki, Martin F. (11 NOV 1902 – 19 MAR 1975)

Martin F. Harycki, 72, retired farmer, succumbed to a lingering disease at Marshfield on the 19th of March 1975.

Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 1975 at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church, Thorp, with Father John Puerner being in charge of the service. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Adam Waiter, John Wagner, John Lobacz, Ray Pszeniczny, Matt Kopacz, Nilo Kytola, and six honorary Knights of Columbus pallbearers, as he was a member of the Knights of Columbus Queen of Peace Council 4634.

Born Martin F. Harycki, November 11, 1902 in Korcowkia, Poland, the deceased came to the United States on the 25th of September 1927 and made his home in Chicago. On November 4, 1931 he and the former Mabel Zdrojkowski were united in marriage in a ceremony performed at Lublin (Taylor Co., Wis.). In 1932 the couple moved to the Greenwood (Clark Co. Wis.) area, where he purchased a farm, where he resided until his death.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Frank A. Harycki, South Milwaukee and Gerald M. Harycki, Greenwood; two daughters, Mrs. Les (Frances) Wandrie, Clinton, Oklahoma and Mrs. James (Stella) Laski Owen (Clark Co.); a sister, Mrs. Stella Demibowicz, Poland, and 10 grandchildren

He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
