Langreck, Robert F (14 October 1933 - 13 December 2019)

Robert Langreck, age 86, of Neillsville, died Friday, December 13, 2019 at the Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield.

Robert F. Langreck was born on October 14, 1933 in Neillsville, the son of Henry and Mary (Mueller) Langreck. He attended St. Mary’s Catholic Grade School and then worked on the family farm before eventually taking over ownership of the farm. He was united in marriage to Angeline Pekol, she died in 1966. Later that year, on November 26, 1966 Bob was married to Mary Ann Oldham at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville. Along with farming, Bob also worked at the Nelson Muffler Factory for many years, retiring in 2003.

Bob was an avid Nascar and Green Bay Packer fan. He also enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley sing.

He is survived by his wife Mary Ann, six children, Allan (Lisa) Langreck of Neillsville, Cheryl Langreck of Neillsville, Gene (Barb) Oldham of Chetek, Kevin (Sharrie) Langreck of Neillsville, Rick Langreck of Neillsville, and Daniel (Joanne) Langreck of Chippewa Falls, eleven grandchildren, Thomas (Ashley) Oldham, Josh Oldham, Mitchell (Dana) Langreck, Alex Langreck, Isaac (Cassey) Langreck, Elijah Langreck, Kiara Langreck, Shelly (Michael) Langreck-Bissonette, Nicole Langreck, Angela Langreck and Kasandra Oldham, eight great-grandchildren, Matthew, Karsten, Dominique, Adrianna, Connor, Abigail, Ava and Emery. Bob is also survived by two siblings, Sister Neva Langreck and Sister Lillia Langreck both of Milwaukee, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and four siblings, Dorothy Opelt, Marie Resong, Harold Langreck and Herb Langreck.

Funeral Services for Robert will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 20, 2019 at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Pastor Douglas Bjerke will officiate. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Friday at the Gesche Funeral Home.
