Miller, Hope E. (12 APR 1975)
Nazareth Lutheran Church in Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) was the setting April 12,
1975 for the 2 p.m. wedding ceremony of Miss Hope E. Miller, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Ed Miller, Route 2, Withee, and Joseph C. Rasmussen, son of Mr. and Mrs. K.
Rasmussen, Route 1, Owen (Clark Co.).
The Rev. Robert Sullivan, officiated. Mrs. Ben Mueller played the organ for the
rite, and John Hagen, Miss Marilyn Hagen, and Miss Kath Maki sang.
For her special day the bride selected a polyester organza and nylon gown
featuring a chapel satin with an open Camelot style lace cap to secure a nylon
tulle mantilla. She carried carnations and (? Couldn't read) flowers.
Mrs. James Rasmussen, Route 1, Owen, matron of honor, was attired in a blue,
lavender and pink floral print gown, and carried a hand bouquet of carnations
and cornflowers.
James Rasmussen, Route 1, Owen, served as best man for the event. Ronald Niznik
of Owen and Steven Rasmussen of St. Paul, Minnesota, seated wedding guests.
Following the ceremony, a lunch was served in the church hall, preceding the
reception at Curtiss Hall.
The bride is attending Owen-Withee High School and the bridegroom graduated from
the same school in 1974.
They are residing on Route 1, Owen.
