The Thorp Board of Education held their regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, December 18 in the High School Flex Room. To start off this month's meeting, the board awarded Victoria Stewart with a Recognition of Outstanding Achievement Certificate.

Victoria Stewart started a community crisis fund at the school. This fund was put in place to help community members in need. Various events have taken place to help raise money for the Community Crisis Fund, including ugly sweater day, hat day, and other events at the cost of $1.00 for participation. So far the Community Crisis Fund has already earned over $600 to help the community, some of which was used recently to help a family who suffered a house fire.

Congratulations to Victoria Stewart on her hard work and dedication to the community.
