Sara Gajewsky, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Gajewsky, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), has been named the recipient of the Charles A. Laakso Memorial Scholarship for 1975. Sara is a freshman student at the University of Wisconsin, Stout, Menomonie.

The Charles A. Laakso Scholarship is given by Mr. and Mrs. Arne Laakso, Route 2, Owen, in memory of their son Charles who lost his life in a tragic boating accident. The selection is made by a committee composed of one faculty member from each of the following academic departments: math, English, social studies and natural science. The high school principal, Hubert Haselton, also serves on the committee.
