Petrulis, Anna (13 SEP 1898 – 8 MAY 1972)

Anna Petrulis, 73, passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield of complications after surgery, May 8th, 1972. Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig's Church Friday, May 12th, 10:30 a.m., with Father Will officiating. Burial was made in New St. Hedwig's Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Alfred Zielanis, Frank Andruskiewicz, Felix Zasacki, Frank Konieczny, Peter Burzynski and Andrew Dobrzynski.

Anna Ulka was born sept 13, 1890 in Chicago. She was united in marriage on November 21, 1920 in Chicago to Fred Petrulis, who precedes her in death. When she was about 2 years old her parents moved from Chicago to a farm in the township of Reseburg, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), when a teenage she went to Chicago to work, later met Fred and was married. They bought a small farm and tavern business in the Thorp area in May of 1924, where she has been residing ever since.

Surviving are one son, Ferdinand of Withee; two daughters, (Anita) Mrs. Vernon Baehr, Withee, (Sylvia) Ms. Rich Swienton, Thorp; two brothers, Joseph Ulka, Ottumwa, Iowa, Mike Ulka, Minneapolis; six sisters, Antonette Dombroin, Eleanore Kotecki, Catherine Miller, Stella Kersting and Julia Keller, all of Chicago, and Elsie Graikowski of Berlin, Wisconsin.
