The Thorp Chapter of the Future Homemakers of America were represented by Miss Jean Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Smith, Kathy Schmitz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Schmitz, Bernadine Mertens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Mertens, and Beverly Haas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Casper Haas. They were accompanied by Mrs. Jane Wagner at the 26th annual Wisconsin Association of Future Homemakers of America Conventions June 5yh thru 7th, 1972 at the American Baptist Assembly, Green Lake. The Convention theme was "To Wider Vision," taken from the new FHA song.
