Keller, Joseph (17 AUG 1909 – 6 JUN 1972)

Funeral services were held for Joseph Keller, 62, city of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) resident, on June 9, 1972 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church. Reveren Francis Brockman officiated at the ten a.m. service, and he was laid to rest in the parish cemetery. Mr. Keller passed away Tuesday, June 6, 1972 at Victory Memorial Hospital, Stanley.

Pallbearers were nephews: John Orzechowski, Stanley Welciek, Harry Hodorowski, Frank Hodorowski, Albert Wink Jr. and Lawrence Wink.

Joseph was born August 17, 1909 and was raised on a farm south of Thorp, which his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Keller came to from Shorewood, Wisconsin. He grew to manhood on that farm and he farmed with his mother till she passed away, and till the tornado took his buildings in 1958. He then bought a home in Thorp and went to work in the office of Dr. Stuesser until the docotro moved the office to the farm. He then went to work for Ace Hardware, where he worked till his heart attack in February.

Surviving are two brothers, Henry Keller of Greenwood and, William Keller of Stanley; two sisters, Anna Ayen of Barnville and Mary Zuraff of Marshfield, and nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and one sister.
