Kauth, Marie (8 May 1903-31 January 1980)
LOYAL--Former Loyal resident, Mrs. Alfred J. (Marie) Kauth, 76, died Thursday
evening at Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.
Services are set for Saturday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, the Rev. Chester
J. Osowski officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with grandsons
serving as pallbearers.
Friends may call today at Rinka Feuneral Home where a prayer service is
scheduled for tonight.
The former Marie Burns was born May 8, 1903, in Milwaukee. She attended schools
there and was married there to Alfred J. Kauth June 16, 1925.
They moved from Milwaukee to Chili in 1946 and owned and operated Al's Bar there
for four years. They then moved to the town of Loyal and farmed until 1965. Mr.
Kauth died in 1968 and the past nine years she had resided at Memorial Home in
Neillsville.
A member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, she is survived by a son, Leroy of
Loyal, and 10 grandchildren. S son, Richard A Kauth, died November 29, 1967.
Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Ralph (Betty) Craig of Tampa, Florida. Three
brothers and one sister are deceased.
