Magedanz, Herman Frank (22 June 1880-21 February 1953)

LOYAL--Funeral services will be held here Tuesday for Herman Frank Magedanz, 72, route 2, who died Saturday in St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

The Rev. Norbert King will officiate at services in St. Anthony's Catholic Church and burial will be made in the church cemetery.

The body will repose at the Myre Funeral Home until the time of services.

A native of New London, Mr. Magedanze was born June 22, 1880. In 1913 he came to Loyal and bought the Heintown Cheese factory. He operated it for three years and then bought the farm where he lived until his death.

His marriage to Nora Stangler took place at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Neillsville November 23, 1915.

He was a member of the Holy Name Society at St. Anthony's Church.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Emil, at home, and Joseph, Marshfield; one daughter, Romaine, South Milwaukee; one grandchild; three brothers, Emil, of Shawano, Albert of Readfield, and Robert of New London; and two sisters, Mrs. Christ Hansen, Two Rivers, and Mrs. August Braatz, Shawano.
