Kurz, Anna (20 November 1877-25 December 1955)

The Rev. T. E. Diemer officiated at the funeral services this afternoon at the Veefkind Lutheran Church in Clark County for Mrs. Anna Kurz, 78, Spencer, who died in her sleep at home Saturday night or early Sunday. Burial was in the cemetery at Loyal. Pallbearers were Paul Bymers, Siegert Kressel, Melvin Tews, Milton Reinhammer, William Rahm and Donald Miller.

Anna Theinert was born November 20, 1877, in Austria. She came to the United States 65 years ago. She lived 38 years in Clark County and the past 8 1/2 years in Marathon County. She married Adolph Kurz May 30, 1903 in Holyoke, Massachusetts.

Surviving are the widower; two sons and three daughters, Phiilip Kurz, at home, Mrs. Julius Ehlert, Loyal, John Kurz, Spencer, Mrs. Henry Shendel, Phoenix, Arizona, and Mrs. Harry Anderson, Chelsea, Taylor County; nine grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
