Zinell, Helena (11 January 1886 – 24 March 1976)

Graveside services were held Friday afternoon at the Neillsville City Cemetery for a former city resident, Mrs. Helena Zinell, 90, who died Wednesday, March 24, at the Marshfield Convalescent Center. The Rev. James Murray, associate pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Marshfield, officiated. Arrangements were made by the Hansen Funeral Home, Marshfield.

Mrs. Zinell, the former Helena Luedtke, was born January 11, 1886, in Jefferson and came to the Neillsville area with her parents in 1900. She left the area in 1917 to work in Duluth, Mn., where she was married to Henry Zinell in January of 1919.

The Zinells lived in Chicago until 1929. Mr. Zinell preceded his wife in death on December 9,1942. From 1929 until 1952, when she moved to Marshfield, Mrs. Zinell lived at 117 Court St. in Neillsville.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Aneta) Lautenbach of Marshfield, and two grandchildren.
