Vine, William F. (5 December 1900-23 January 1981)

GRANTON-- William Vine, 80, of Route 2, Granton, died Friday afternoon at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville.

The Rev. William Noble, pastor of United Methodist Church, will officiate with burial in the town of Grant Cemetery.

he was born December 5, 1900 in the town of Grant to Mr. and Mrs. Fred Vine. He received his education there and farmed with his parents. He was married January 12, 1923 at Neillsville to Helen Short.

They operated a farm in the town of Grant until retiring in 1968. He became a resident of Memorial Home last April.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Marjorie Vine of Schererville, Indiana and Mrs. Allen (Dorothy) Linster of Verona; one sister, Mrs. Roy (Lettie) Suckow of Neillsville; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by two brothers.
