Puttkamer, Robert B. (? - 25 May 1976)

A Neillsville native, Robert B. Puttkamer, 86, of 2875 Rt. 11, Lafayette, N.Y., died Tuesday, May 25, at Community General Hospital there. Services were held Friday from the Hall Funeral Home, Lafayette, with the Rev. Robert T. Smith officiating. Burial was in Lafayette Cemetery.

Mr. Puttkamer, the son of Frank and Berta Kormitz Puttkamer, was born in Neillsville and attended local schools. He married the former Nora Glasow, also of Neillsville. The Puttkamers moved to New York state in 1920. Mrs. Puttkamer preceded her husband in death in 1971.

He was a retired employee of the New York Central Railroad.

Surviving are two children, both born in Neillsville, William P. Puttkamer and Mrs. Robert N. Park, Lafayette, and six grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, in addition to several nieces and nephews.
