Stitt, Kevin Earl (26 April 1957 – 19 May 2020)

Kevin Stitt, age 63, of Neillsville, died at his home on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis.

Kevin Earl Stitt was born on April 26, 1957 the son of Robert and Judy (Wood) Stitt. He grew up in Hanover-Horton, Michigan and attended school there until 1974, when his parents purchased the Riviera Supper Club. He then attended Neillsville High School, graduating in 1975. He worked various jobs in the area, and on December 1, 1979 was united in marriage to Pamela Wall at the United Church of Christ in Neillsville. His love for the outdoors influenced his decision to attend college at UW-Stevens Point in the forestry program in 1986. While attending college, he was employed with the United Parcel Service (UPS). He worked for UPS before joining the Jackson County DNR, where he worked for many years. He later changed careers and was employed with Millis trucking from 2006 to 2019. He was recognized for driving over a million miles safely.

He had a great love for the outdoors, with trapping, fishing and hunting always on his mind.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Pamela, his children, Elliot, Kayla and Jodi, 3 sisters, Kathy (Corky) Kuhry, Penny (David) Ludeman and Leah Drews, his mother-in-law, Patricia Wall and Numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kelly Stitt.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, private family services for Kevin will be held at later date.
