Dietrich, Rev. Louis A. (5 February 1906-25 March 1981)
COLBY -- The Rev. Louis A. Dietrich, 75, who served St. Mary's Catholic Church
here, died March 25 in his sleep at his home in Miami.
He was pastor of Notre Dame in Chippewa Falls from 1952 to 1960. He returned to
the La Crosse Diocese in 1971 due to Illness and lived here with his cousin, the
Rev. Francis Rushman.
He served as an associate here and as administrator at St. John's, Cooks Valley,
until retiring in 1979 and moving to Florida. He also served in Detroit and
Pittsburgh.
He was born in Cooks Valley.
