Quade, Quintin F. – Rev. (28 JAN 1936 – 10 NOV 1971)

Rev. Quintin F. Quade, former Vicar of Christ Lutheran Church of Abbotsford and St. Peter’s Lutheran Church of Dorchester, died November 10, 1971. His funeral was held Saturday in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Rev. Quade was born January 28, 1936 in Hastings, Nebraska.

He served as an interpreter in Germany while enlisted in military service.

Rev. Quade was serving the Deaf Mission of Cedar Rapids, Iowa at the time of his death.

On December 27, 1964 he married Dorothy (Nee Kieser), daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G.G. Kieser of Abbotsford.

Several relatives and friends drove to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to attend the funeral.

Attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Gottlieb G. Kieser, Mr. and Mrs. Donald E. Kieser, Mr. and Mrs. Hans Amacher, all of Abbotsford; Mr. and Mrs. Frederick W. Kieser and sons of Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Dennis V. Kieser of Thorp; Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hodd and son of Melrose; Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Bartz of Merrill; Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Gehring of Eleva; Mr. and Mrs. Weldon S. Brown, Randy Sherie of Mason City, Iowa; Dr. and Mrs. Warren Puhl and son of Winona, Minnesota; and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kieser of Milwaukee.
