Wiater, Adam F. (24 December 1906 - 1 July 1981)

THORP -- Mr. Adam F. Wiater, 74 of rural Thorp died Wednesday afternoon at his home. Death was attributed to an apparent heart attack.

Funeral services will be Saturday at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church Chapel and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call Friday at Thorp Funeral Home.

Mr. Wiater was born December 24, 1906 in Green Bay and was educated there. He married Evelyn Graikowski in Thorp on June 21, 1928. They lived in Green Bay for 15 years and then moved to Thorp where they farmed and had been residents for the past 30 years.

He had been a member of the Fourth Order of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Richard of Cincinnati and Adam Jr. of Hanover Park, Illinois; one daughter, Lorraine, (Mrs. Ben) Jarocki of Thorp; 11 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
