Mueller, Nora W. (12 September 1910 - 21 October 1981)

Nora W. Mueller, 71, Dorchester, died today in Memorial Hospital at Medford. She and her husband had farmed in the Dorchester and Medford area and later operated the Snipe Lake Resort at Eagle River from 1955 until 1973.

The former Nora Muehler was born September 12, 1910, in the town of Holton, daughter of Bruno and Alma Muehler, and attended Dorchester High School. She was married to Peter Mueller on January 19, 1928 in Chicago. He died January 12, 1962. Mrs. Mueller moved back to rural Dorchester in 1973.

She was a member of the Woman's Guild of Peace United Church of Christ in Dorcchester; she served on the church council and sang in the church choir.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Kocian, Van Nuys, California; a sister, Mrs. Theodore (Helen) Ertmoed, Treemont, Illinois; three grandchildren and a great-grandson.

Service will be held Saturday in Peace United Church of Christ, Dorchester. The Rev. Samuel Robbins will officiate and burial will be in Dorchester Memorial North Cemetery, Friends may call at Maurina Funeral Home in Dorchester.
