Krueger, Ethel (3 August 1916 - 21 August 1981)

COLBY -- Services for Mrs. Frank (Ethel) Krueger, 65, Route 2, who died Friday at Colby Clinic, will be Tuesday at Rux-Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby. The Rev Kenneth L. Loehrke, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church in Abbotsford, will officiate. Burial will be in Colby Memorial Cemetery.

Ethel Mengel was born August 3 1916 in Helena, Montana. She was married to Frank Krueger September 22, 1937 in Colby. After their marriage, they lived at Route 2, Colby, and then for 10 years in Tomahawk. They returned to Colby and have lived there until the present time.

She is survived by her husband; one son, Fred Krueger of Medford; three daughters, Mrs. Vincent (Dorothy) Vignolo of New Brunswick, New Jersey, Mrs. Kenneth (Alice) Oelke and Mrs. Terry (Betty) Kayhart, both of Colby; 11 grandchildren; two brothers, Harry Mengel of Stratford and Robert Mengel of Neillsville; and three sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Alvira) Uerling of Colby, Mrs. Carl (Alice) Hackel of Marshfield and Mrs. Leo (Yvonne) Plantico of Owen.

She was predeceased by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Mengel and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Donald Will, Gary Will, Ervin Uerling, Dennis Kayhart, Clarence Neil and Myron Ewert.
